Preferences
In Preferences you specify the basic settings for your account. Some of these may also be specified from elsewhere in the system, but Preferences provides a single area where you can see and edit them.
General
StatusThis specifies whether the site is active or not
TypeSpecifies what type of site this is.
Number of Internal LinksWhen your template contains a token that inserts links to other of your site's pages, this field specifies how many. Having a vigorous system of internal links to relevant pages can benefit your site in searches, and the system can handle this automatically.
Remove extra lines from html cacheSelecting this option cleans up the HTML generated when a page is saved.
Webmaster's EmailAutmatic alerts on technical matters relating to the system are sent from this address.
Administrator EmailThis is used for autmatic emails sent by the system, for signups, confirmations, password reminders, alerts and so on.
Internet
HostThe is the domain name of your site
Your website addressUse this field to specify your main website, if you are using the system to host additional content.
Static Files Base PathIf you want to specify another web domain as the default location for images and other files, you can do it here. This means tha all relative URLs will be redirected to the domain specified.
Records Per PageThe number of records you want by default to see in listings.
Presentation
Banner textThis is the name that will appear in the site header in standard templates
Default templateThis is the template which will be used by default when new Documents are create.
Page not found ruleWhat to do when a web page request cannot be met. You might well specify a Redirect here.
Invalid URL document The page that displays when an invalid URL is requested
Home pageThe Code (URL) of the home page (e.g. home.html; index.html)
Search optimization
Window title
Default title prefixIf you want a word or phrase to begin all of your window titles by default, then specify it here.
Title separatorThe separator characters to use in the window title to separate keywords when the window title is automaticaly generated.
Title tag length.The length of the window title, in characters, when it is automatically generated.
Deduplicate title wordsWhen this is on, and the window title is being automatically generated, no words will appear more than once in the window title.
Reject title wordsAs you use the system you can build up a list of words which will never become keywords. Use this checkbox to automatically exclude this list of words from the window title.
Description
Description tag lengthDescription is a META tag which is normally invisible, as it is located in the HEAD section. It is designed to be a short description of the page and is importance: it can influence search results and can sometimes be displayed in the search results page. The system can create the Description automatically, and in this field you can specify the maximum length in characters.
Keywords
Max Keywords allowedKeywords is a META tag which is normally invisible, as it is located in the HEAD section. It is designed to stress key page content. It can influence search results. The system can create keywords automatically from content, and in this field you can specify the maximum number of keyworkds allowed in the document.
Priority keywordsThese are words which, when keywords are being automatically generated, the system will use first and place at the start of the keyword list.
Default keywordsThese are words which, when keywords are being automatically generated, the system will always include as keywords, regardless of page content.
Rejected keywordsThese are words which, when keywords are being automatically generated, the system will always reject as keywords.
RSS feed
An RSS feed lets you publish new pages in a feed that can be read by software designed to do so.
RSS TitleThe title of your RSS feed
RSS EmailThe email address shown on your feed.
RSS DescriptionA short description of your feed
Mail server
Mail serverThe IP address or URL of the server
SMTP Auth UserEnter the SMTP username.
SMTP Auth PasswordEnter the SMTP password.

DeleteChecking this causes the logo to be delted on saving.

Click this button to upload the image from your computer
Resize WidthEnter the value in pixels that you wish to resize the image to.
Resize HeightEnter the value in pixels that you wish to resize the image to.
SrcEnter the URL of the image you wish to display.
LinkIf you want the image to be a hyperlink to another page, enter the page URL here.
FTP server
If you do not want the system to act as a web server as well as doing the management of content, you can specify the details of your web server here, and the pages will be automatically uploaded to your server when they are saved.
FTP server/IPEnter the IP address or URL of your web server here.
UserEnter the user name for your server.
PasswordEnter the password for your server.
FTP Server PathHere you need to enter the path for your website, if any is required in addition to the URL/IP mentioned above.
