Spirituality not religious dogma
can solve our problems

The answer to terrorism, stress, bereavement, lovelessness and international conflict can be found in increased spirituality according to bestselling mind-body-spirit author and teacher Richard Lawrence. He points to recent surveys which show that while traditional religions may be struggling, spirituality is still very much alive and well in the UK.
- a World Values Survey showed that 72% of us in Britain believe in God, whereas only 42% consider themselves religious
- a poll in The Herald, Scotland, showed that 71% of us consider ourselves spiritual and 63% believe in life after death
- a Populus poll showed that 65% of us pray
Even in the USA, land of the "shrink", over three times as many people turn to spiritual practices, including yoga and meditation, to reduce stress as go for counselling and therapy, according to research by the American Psychological Association.
Also on the increase is the burgeoning self-help movement which for many has replaced orthodox religion - the market has doubled in the USA in just four years, and sales of self-help books in the UK on Amazon have increased by an astonishing 38%. Richard Lawrence's new DVD, Realise Your Inner Potential, a tried and tested series of spiritual techniques for anyone to use in the comfort of their own homes, is perhaps the most ambitious programme yet in its claim to fill the spiritual void in our lives.
