Our Realise Your Inner Potential Summer Retreat 2006 held in July at Oxon Hoath, Kent, was an outstanding success. Run by Richard Lawrence and guest presenters in one of the country's most beautiful retreat centres, it was always going to be a sell-out, and so it proved.
Forty-five keen students joined Richard Lawrence and his enthusiastic team for five days of spiritual discovery based on spiritual development techniques taught by Dr. George King. Guest presenters included musician and sound therapist Tim Wheater, mantra expert John Holder, life coach Tony Perrot, Steve and Vivien Gibson who gave a condensed version of their workshop Awakening the Heart Chakra, crystal expert Alyson Lawrence and hard-working retreat coordinator Mark Bennett who gave an impressive talk on his personal selection of heros.
However, the outstanding success of the retreat was mostly due to Richard, a former Observer columnist and bestselling author, who is one of the most respected names in the mind-body-spirit movement. He conducted 18 teaching sessions over the five days, with tremendous results. Many showed a serious interest in learning a lot more, and all enjoyed themselves immensely, to judge from the rave reviews. Many had remarkable experiences including amazing psychic visions. Three people who had never met Dr King had visions of him, and four people, who had never done so before, joined in a mass pilgrimage we arranged to Holdstone Down in North Devon the following weekend to pray for peace.
A number of students have already booked for Richard’s Psychic Weekend at the same venue next year.
